Permission to Not Ride the Bus Home

Please note, all transportation forms must be submitted by 2:00 PM. It is becoming too confusing to coaches and administrators when forms are submitted last minute. We will not honor alternate transportation requests after 2:00 PM.

It is the responsibility and obligation of the Maple Shade High School Athletic Department to provide the safest, most reliable transportation for its student athletes. Therefore, all athletes must use the transportation provided by the Board of Education to and from practices and home contests. However, we realize many athletes have obligations and may need other transportation from practice and home games.

In order to receive permission to leave the field from games or practices:

The athlete can only leave with a sibling or parent.
The athlete may ride with the coach to and from practices or contests when appropriate.
The coach reserves the right to refuse such requests on a game by game basis, if in the opinion of the coach; it serves the best interest of the individual or the program.
If the athlete drives, he/she is not permitted to drive other athletes/students to or from athletic contests or practices. They may only drive if dates for driving have been submitted prior.
